JENKINTOWN, PA—Today's Manor College Athletics Questions and Answers during COVID-19 is with Baseball Head Coach Jose Toledo.

 

Toledo is the first Blue Jays' Baseball Head Coach in school history.  The article announcing his hiring in 2018 can be read at this link.

 

Question: Do you have any tips for working from home?

Toledo: "Stay focused.  It is easy to get distracted with everyone in the house during this pandemic."

 

Question: How are you connecting with your student-athletes?

Toledo: "Phone calls, text messages, and social media."

 

Question: How are you connecting with administrators and other coaches?

Toledo: "E-mail, phone, and text."

 

Question: Do you have any anecdotes/stories on how you are moving forward during COVID-19?

Toledo: "Not really.  Just staying safe and obeying CDC rules."

 

Question: What is your outlook on the upcoming 2021 Baseball season?

Toledo: "I was excited for this year, knowing the type talent we have on the roster.  It makes me even more excited that we will be able to build on it come 2021.  Our goal for next year is to make the Manor baseball team one of the top competitors in our conference and region."
