Ava Burski Named Blue Jay Spotlight

Ava Burski is a freshman at Manor College and a member of the Women's Soccer team at Manor. She attended Bensalem High School and is planning to study Dental Hygiene at Manor. 

In September, Burski made her first appearance for the Blue Jays on the soccer pitch against Patrick Henry College.

How did you find out about Manor College?

I found out about Manor College from my dental hygenists. The majority of them graduated from here and recommended it. 

What is the earliest sports memory you have?

My first memory was playing for my first soccer team. I was five years old and playing for the red team at Hulmeville. 

What are your favorite sports teams?

Eagles, Flyers and Phillies

When did you pick up track and what made you stick with it?

I started playing when I was five years old. I fell in love with this sport immediately. It has been a part of my life ever since. Being able to be considered a college athlete is truly rewarding.

If you could have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Penne Vodka pasta because I love Italian food.

If you could have one dinner with any four people throughout history, who would it be and why?

Andrew Garfield, Tom Holland, Eminem and Channing Tatum. Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland because they are my favorite actors in my favorite Spiderman movies. Eminem because my Dad would always listen to him growing up so I've always loved his music. Lastly, Channing Tatum because Dear John is also one of my favorite movies.
