MANOR COLLEGE'S KANE AND WATERS NAMED TO THE USCAA DIVISION I WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

UNIONTOWN, PA—Manor College sophomores Vada Kane (middle blocker/setter) (Philadelphia, PA/Abraham Lincoln) and Anjana Waters (middle blocker/outside hitter) (Philadelphia, PA/Northeast) were named to the USCAA Division I Women's Volleyball All-Academic Team. 

According to the USCAA web site: "This award recognizes the student-athletes (sophomore or greater) who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater."

Kane, a Dental Hygiene major, played in six matches (three starts) and 12 sets for the Blue Jays.  

Waters, a Liberal Arts and Science major, played in all of Manor's seven matches (one start).  She also appeared in 12 sets.

Kane and Waters join the following student-athletes who were previously named to the USCAA Division I Women's Volleyball All-Academic Team: Neysha Medina andBrooke Strassle (2022-2023) and Remy Bou (2021).

Since Manor's 2021 debut, 15 student-athletes have been named to USCAA All-Academic Teams.

Kane and Waters play for first-year Head Coach Michael Cianci.
