MANOR COLLEGE'S MEDINA AND STRASSLE NAMED TO THE USCAA DIVISION I WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

PITTSBURGH, PA—Manor College juniors Neysha Medina (Philadelphia, PA/Constitution) and Brooke Strassle (Conshohocken, PA/Plymouth Whitemarsh) were named to the USCAA Division I Women's Volleyball All-Academic Team. 

According to the USCAA web site: "This award recognizes the student-athletes (sophomore or greater) who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater."

Medina played in three matches and nine sets for the Blue Jays.  She contributed 11 digs and was second on the team with 1.22 digs per set.

Strassle played in five of Manor's six matches and 14 out of 18 its sets.  She led the Blue Jays in kills (19), total attacks (42), attack percentage (0.357), digs (18), and points (24.0).  Strassle also paced Manor in kills (1.36), digs (1.29), and points (1.7) per set.

Medina and Strassle were also on the 2022 USCAA Division I Women's Volleyball All-Academic Team.

Medina and Strassle play for second-year Head Coach Anthony Holloway.
