MANOR COLLEGE WOMEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK SETS SEASON BEST IN THE 4 X 100 ON THE SECOND DAY OF THE USCAA TRACK AND FIELD NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

SPRINGFIELD, MA—Manor College Women's Outdoor Track and Field set a season best in the 4 X 100 meter relay on the second day of the USCAA Track and Field Championships, hosted by Hampshire College.

The Championships were held at the John G. Hoyt '52 Track and Field Complex on the campus of the NCAA Division II American International College Yellow Jackets in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Junior Lauren Brown (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert), senior Aidan Geiger (Glenside, PA/Abington), junior Alexandra Simmons (Cheltenham, PA/Cheltenham), and sophomore Ronise Exil (Philadelphia, PA/Samuel Fels) and ran in the 4 X100 and finished with a season-best time of 1:07.96, surpassing their time of 1:11.38 on the second day of the Bill Butler Invitational at NCAA Division II West Chester University on April 12.  Exil and Simmons were making their USCAA Track and Field National Championship event debuts.  This is the second straight meet they have improved their time in this event.  Manor scored 2.0 points in this event.

Exil and Geiger made their USCAA Track and Field National Championship event debuts in the first heat of the 400 and finished with a times of 1:21.17 and 1:44.79, respectively.  Exil's time set a school USCAA Track and Field National Championships record, surpassing Neysha Medina's mark of 1:21.80 on the Championship's second day on April 27, 2024.

Brown made her USCAA Track and Field National Championship event debut in the first heat of the 800 and finished with a time of 3:27.62.

There were 19 schools at the National Championships.

The State University of New York (SUNY) College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) defended its National Championship with 142.0 points.  Manor finished tied for 16th with Penn State University-Scranton with 2.0 points.
