MANOR COLLEGE WOMEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK SETS MULTIPLE PERSONAL AND SCHOOL RECORDS AT THE USCAA TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

SPRINGFIELD, MA—The Manor College Women's Outdoor Track and Field team finished the season, setting personal bests and school records at the 2024 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Outdoor Track and Field Championship, at the John G. Hoyt '52 Track & Field Complex, at NCAA Division II American International College.  This Championship was hosted by Hampshire College.

Senior Jessie Dupre (Philadelphia, PA/Swenson Arts and Technology), junior Neysha Medina (Philadelphia, PA/Constitution), sophomore Olivia Morton (Philadelphia, PA/St.Hubert), and sophomore Lauren Brown (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert), finished with a time of 1:06.32 in the 4 X 100 meter relay, breaking the school record of 1:06.51 at the Middlesex College Invitational on April 15, 2023. This time also surpassed the top 2024 time of 1:06.68 on April 6 at the Ursinus College Track and Field Festival (Day Two).  It also set a school-event record, surpassing the time of 1:07.01 at the 2023 USCAA Track and Field Invitational.   The Blue Jays scored 4.0 points in this event.  This is the second straight Championship they have scored points in this event.

Medina won the first heat in the 400 with a personal, 2024 school, and event-best and school-record time of 1:21.80. She broke her own record of 1:22.48 at the Middlesex Invitational on April 15, 2023. Medina's time of 1:21.80 is a school USCAA Track and Field Championship record, surpassing her own mark of 1:24.83 at the 2023 USCAA Track and Field Invitational.  Brown finished in this heat with a time of 1:22.31 in her event debut.  Morton also ran in this heat and finished with a time of 1:37.51.  Medina scored 1.0 point for the Blue Jays.  She became the first Blue Jay to score a point in a USCAA Women's Track and Field Championship individual event.

Dupre finished with a 2024 personal and school season-best time of 15.25 in the second heat of the 100.  She surpassed her 2024 personal and school season-best time of 15.88 at the Bill Butler Invitational on April 13.  Dupre's time of 15.25 is a school USCAA Track and Championship record, surpassing her own mark of 15.37 at the 2022 USCAA Track and Field Invitational.

Manor made its USCAA Track and Field Championship event debut in the 800.  Medina finished with a personal best and school-record time of 3:21.74.  She broke Brown's mark of 3:25.97 at Day Two of the Ursinus Track and Field Festival on April 6.  Medina scored 1.0 point for the Blue Jays.  She became the first Blue Jay to score a point in multiple USCAA Women's Track and Field Championship individual events.

The 200 was the Blue Jays' final event at the USCAA Track and Field Championship.  Dupre finished with a 2024 personal and school season-best time of 33.33 in the second heat.  Brown and Morton also ran in the second heat, and finished with times of 35.92 and 36.88, respectively.

Manor finished 13th with 6.0 points.  This is the most points the Blue Jays have scored at the USCAA Track and Field Championships.   The State University of New York (SUNY)-Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) won the Championship with 154.0 points.
