PITTSBURGH, PA—Manor College Indoor Track and Field sophomore Lauren Brown (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert) has been named to the 2024 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Winter National All-Academic Team for Non-Championship Sports.

According to the USCAA web site: "The USCAA's National All-Academic Award is designed to recognize all student-athletes (sophomores, juniors, and seniors at four-year institutions and sophomores at two-year institutions) who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 (on a 4.00 point system) or greater. This season's award is for those student-athletes that participate at a member institution in a sport in which there is not currently a USCAA National Championship."

Brown, a Criminal Justice major, ran in two meets for the Blue Jays.  She won the third heat in the 60 meters with a time of 10.21 and set a personal best time in the 11th heat in the 200 with a time of 35.53 at the Frank Colden Invitational at Ursinus College on February 3, 2024.  Brown also ran in the 200 and 400 at the Collegeville Classic at Ursinus on January 20, 2024.

Brown was also named to the Eastern State Athletic Conference Fall 2023 Semester All-Academic Team in Women's Soccer.

Brown is the eighth Manor student-athlete to be named to a 2023-2024 USCAA All-Academic Team. She is also one of 16 Blue Jay student-athletes to be named to the Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) Fall 2023 Semester All-Academic Team.

Brown runs for fourth-year Head Coach Jeff McCann.
