MANOR COLLEGE WOMEN’S INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD TEAM SET PERSONAL BESTS AND SCHOOL INDOOR RECORDS AT FRANK COLDEN INVITATIONAL

COLLEGEVILLE, PA—The Manor College Women's Indoor Track and Field team finished its fourth season at the Frank Colden Invitational at the Floy Lewis Bakes Center, hosted by NCAA Division III Ursinus College.

Senior Jesse Dupre (Philadelphia, PA/Swenson Arts and Technology) ran in the 60 meter Preliminaries with a time of 9.94 in the second heat.  Dupre owns the top-four 60-meter times in Blue Jay history.  Sophomore Lauren Brown (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert) made her 60-meter debut and became the first Manor Women's Indoor runner to win a heat any event with a time of 10.21 in the third heat (Unseeded).  Senior Aidan Geiger (Glenside, PA/Abington) set a personal best indoor time of 10.65 in this in the first heat (Unseeded).

Freshman Ronise Exil (Philadelphia, PA/Samuel Fels) set a school indoor record with a time of 1:16.94 in the seventh heat of the 400 meters in her collegiate debut, breaking Brown's record of 1:26.44 at the Collegeville Classic on January 20.  Freshman Amani'Hadia Kanu (Philadelphia, PA/Strawberry Mansion) made her collegiate debut in the same heat with Exil with a time of 1:24.10.   Sophomore Olivia Morton (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert) set a personal best indoor time of 1:32.21 in the sixth heat.

Exil also ran in the 800 and finished with a time of 3:33.62 in the fourth heat.

Kanu broke Dupre's school indoor record in the 200 with a time of 34.56 in the 11th heat.  Dupre previously held the mark with a time of 34.77 at the Collegeville Classic on January 20.  Dupre ran in the 10th heat and finished with a time of 35.09.  Brown set a personal best indoor time of 35.53 in the 11th heat. Morton also ran in the 11th heat with a time of 38.67.

Manor did not score at this meet.

Delaware State University, a NCAA Division I school, won the meet (out of the 22 schools that competed) with 13 points.
