Gangi on becoming and being the Manor College Women’s Soccer Head Coach: “I applied for head coaching positions at the high school and college level and was fortunate enough to land the head coaching position for our Women's team at Manor College.  We have not been as successful as I would like in my five years at Manor College.  Sometimes winning isn't everything and I'm very proud to say our teams always compete hard and nobody has ever quit.  What I'm most proud about is our team’s ability to juggle all that comes with being a student-athlete while keeping their GPA very high with most making the EPAC All Academic teams.  I also see a team that is looking to help each other on an off the field.  I’m always looking to improve my understanding of coaching soccer.  I have learned coaching with empathy and compassion works better then yelling and intimidation.  They also learn about commitment, accountability and competition.  We are trying to build a foundation that will produce great young adults that understand these important traits and become valuable members of our society.  I have enjoyed my time at Manor College and look forward to many more years meeting and helping all our student athletes any way I can.”

Gangi on his Warminster Soccer Club and William Tennent Freshman Boys Soccer Coaching experiences: “I have two wonderful daughters and as soon as they were old enough to play soccer I started coaching them at Warminster soccer club.  Travel soccer came next and I have been a part of Warminster soccer for over 20 years.  I coached my daughters and nephews Travel Teams for many years.  During this time I also coached the William Tennent Boys’ Freshman soccer team.  I loved coaching players at this level.  They understand the game and I could throw out any drill and our team would take to it and improve.  We had a few very successful years coaching at Tennent.”
