NEWTOWN, PA—Manor College Women's Basketball (0-4 overall, 0-2 Eastern States Athletic Conference) freshman guard Tori Simmons (Cheltenham, PA/Cheltenham) was named All-ESAC Women's Basketball Second Team by the Conference's Head Coaches.
Per ESAC game, Simmons led Manor in minutes (39.0), overall field goals made (3.0), three-point field goals made (1.0), free throws made (3.0), points (10.0), defensive rebounds (6.5), total rebounds (6.5), and blocked shots (1.5). She was second on the Blue Jays with 1.0 steals per ESAC game.
Overall per game, Simmons paced Manor in minutes (39.3), overall field goals made (4.2), three-point field goals made (1.2), free throws made (1.8), points (11.5), defensive rebounds (7.3), total rebounds (7.8), and blocked shots (3.0). She was second on the Blue Jays 1.5 steals per game. Simmons was tied for second on the team with 1.0 assists per game.
Simmons finished in the top-25 in USCAA Division I Women's Basketball in the following per game categories: blocked shots (second), minutes (fifth). defensive rebounds (eighth), three-point field goals (21st), and total rebounds (21st).
Simmons joins Octavia Preston as the other Women's Basketball player named to the All-ESAC Team. Preston was named to the 2022-2023 All-ESAC First Team.
The Blue Jays finished its third USCAA season and second in the ESAC under first-year Head Coach Michael Cianci.
