Jeff McCann was hired as the first Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field team which debuted in December, 2019.  He also coaches the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Outdoor Track and Field teams.

Men’s Indoor Track and Field (2019-Present)

2023-2024: Manor competed in two meets.  Freshman Phaizon Thompson finished first in the 11th heat and set a school record in the 200 meters (personal-best 24.83) at the Frank Colden Invitational hosted by NCAA Division III Ursinus College on February 3. Thompson's 200-meters time was 22nd-best at this Invitational.   Thompson also set a school record in the third heat in the 60 meters (personal-best 7.56) at the Frank Colden Invitational, hosted by Ursinus.  Thompson finished second in the the eighth section of the 60 meters (unseeded) with a time of 7.61 at the Collegeville Classic, hosted by Ursinus on January 20.  Thompson also finished second in section 13 of the 200 meters with a time of 26.91 at the Collegeville Classsic.

2022-2023: Manor competed in two meets. The Blue Jays made its four-year collegiate debut on January 21, 2023 at the Collegeville Classic, hosted by Ursinus.  Freshman Jacob Torres became the first Blue Jay Men's or Women's Indoor Track and Field athlete to finish first in a heat when he finished at the top in the ninth heat (school-record 56.85) at the Frank Colden Invitational on February 4 (hosted by Ursinus).  Torres also finished second in the second heat and ninth overall in the 800 meters (school-record 2:14.72) at the Collegeville Classic.

2019-2020: Manor made is collegiate debut at the Bow Tie Invitational, hosted by Ursinus, on December 6.  The Blue Jays competed in three meets.  Sophomore William Rodebaugh was named Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Spring 2020 Semester All-Academic Team.

Men’s Outdoor Track and Field (2022-Present)

2022: The Blue Jays made its four-year debut on the second day of the Danny Curran Invitational, hosted by NCAA Division III Widener University on April 2.  Manor competed in four meets, including the USCAA Track and Field Invitational on April 30, hosted by the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of Albany.  The following Blue Jays set school records this season: sophomore Isaiah Leonard (100 meters and 200 meters: 11.81 and 24.88, respectively, at the USCAA Track and Field Invitational), freshman Kareem Haines (400 meters: 1:00.23 at the Ursinus Outdoor Invitational on April 9), and freshman Raphael Ayeni (800 meters: 2:23.35 at the Ursinus Outdoor Invitational).  Haines became the first Blue Jay Outdoor Track and Field athlete to win a heat (200 meters: 25.93 at the Danny Curran Invitational).  Leonard became the first Blue Jay Outdoor Track and Field athlete to win multiple heats in the same season (100 meters at the Widener Invitational on April 23 and USCAA Track and Field Invitational Heats) and reach the finals in the postseason (100 meters at the USCAA Track and Field Invitational).

Previous College Coaching Experience: McCann previously coached at Immaculata University (NCAA Division III) Men’s Cross Country Head Cross Country Coach (2006-2008) and Immaculata University (NCAA Division III) Women’s Cross Country Coach (2005-2008).

Previous High School Coaching Experience: His previous high school coaching experience included: William Penn Charter School Boys and Girls Cross Country and Track and Field Assistant Coach (1998, 2009-2012) and Germantown School Boys Cross Country and Track and Field Head Coach (1999-2003).

College Athletics Career: He was a member of the University of Richmond Men’s Track and Field team and participated in the 800, 1000, and 1500 meters and earned a varsity letter.  McCann also earned a varsity letter for the Spiders’ Cross Country squad.

Personal: McCann is currently a Residential Mortgage Closing Assistant for Waterstone Mortgage Corporation in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.  He is also currently the Head Coach for and Founder of OHANKO Elite Running in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
