MANOR COLLEGE MEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK COMPETES ON THE SECOND DAY OF THE URSINUS TRACK AND FIELD FESTIVAL

COLLEGEVILLE, PA—The Manor College Men's Outdoor Track and Field team competed on the second day of the Ursinus Track and Field Festival at Patterson Field, hosted by the NCAA Division III Ursinus College Bears.

Sophomore Phaizon Thompson (Philadelphia, PA/Benjamin Franklin) ran in the ninth heat of the 100 meters and finished second with a time of 12.07. Thompson also ran in the tenth heat of the 200 meters with a season-best time of 25.17, surpassing his time of 26.18 on March 29 on the second day of the Danny Curran Invitational at NCAA Division III Widener University.

There were not any team scores at this Invitational.

There were 29 schools and clubs/organizations competing in this Festival, including NCAA (Divisions II and III) and NJCAA (Division III). 

Next Meet: Manor is scheduled to finish the season on the second day of the BIll Butler Invitational, hosted by the NCAA Division II West Chester University Golden Rams, at John A. Farrell Stadium, at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
