SPRINGFIELD, MA—The 2024 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship preview, at the John G. Hoyt '52 Track & Field Complex, at NCAA Division II American International College.  This Championship will be hosted by Hampshire College.

This will be the Blue Jays' second appearance at the USCAA Track and Field Championship.  Manor previously participated in the 2022 USCAA Track and Field Invitational, which was at the University of Albany and hosted by the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Freshman Phaizon Thompson (Philadelphia, PA/Benjamin Franklin) will be competing in the 100 meter Preliminaries.  He qualified for the USCAA Track and Field Championship with a personal and Manor's 2024 best time of 11.84 at Day Two of the Danny Curran Invitational at NCAA Division III Widener University on March 30.  Thompson has the tenth-best 2024 USCAA Track and Field Championship qualifying time in this event.  Isaiah Leonard holds the school record with a time of 11.81 at the 2022 USCAA Track and Field Invitational.  The three heat winners plus the five-best non-heat winning times advance to the Finals.

Thompson will also be participating in the 200.  He qualified for the USCAA Track and Field Championship with a school-record time of 23.98 at Day Two of the 2024 Danny Curran Invitational.  Thompson has the tenth-best 2024 USCAA Track and Field Championship qualifying time in this event.  Leonard's time of 24.88 was Manor's best at the 2022 USCAA Track and Field Invitational.

Bluefield University won the 2023 USCAA Men's Track and Field Invitational.
