MANOR COLLEGE MEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD COMPETES IN THE SECOND DAY OF THE URSINUS COLLEGE TRACK AND FIELD FESTIVAL

COLLEGEVILLE, PA—The Manor College Men's Outdoor Track and Field team competed in its third meet of the regular season on the second day of the Ursinus College Track and Field Festival at Patterson Field, hosted by the NCAA Division III Bears.

Freshman Phaizon Thompson (Philadelphia, PA/Benjamin Franklin) finished with a time in the second heat of the 100 meter preliminaries with a time of 12.22.   

He also ran in the sixth heat of the 200 meters and finished with a time of 24.40.

There were not any team scores at this Festival.

There were 20 schools and clubs/organizations competing in this Festival, including NCAA (Divisions II and III) and NJCAA (Division III).  Pennsylvania State University-Schuylkill was the other USCAA member competing at this Invitational.

Next Meet: Manor is scheduled to compete in its final regular season meet in the Bill Butler Invitational, hosted by the NCAA Division II West Chester University Golden Rams, at James A. Farrell Stadium, on Saturday, April 13 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
