MANOR COLLEGE MEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD COMPETES IN DAY TWO OF THE DANNY CURRAN INVITATIONAL

CHESTER, PA—The Manor College Men's Outdoor Track and Field team competed in day two of the at the Danny Curran Invitational, hosted by NCAA Division III Widener University.

This invitational took place on the George A. Hansell Track in Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium.

Sophomore William Rodebaugh (Philadelphia, PA/Keystone) ran in the ninth heat of the 1,500 meters and finished with a time of 5:30.85.  Sophomore Yaseer McKeithan (Ardmore, PA/Lower Merion) ran in the 11th heat of the 400 meters and finished with a time of 1:00.67.

Over 50 amateur, NCAA, and NJCAA team participated in this two-day invitational.

The following NJCAA Division III schools competed in this event (including Manor): Fashion Institute of Technology (Region XV), Rowan College at Gloucester County (Region XIX), and Suffolk Community College (Region XV).

NCAA Division III Rowan University won the Men's portion of this Invitational with 129 points.  Gloucester County was the highest scoring NJCAA school with 36 points, tied for fifth with NCAA Division III Rutgers University-Camden.  The Roadrunners were the only NJCAA program to score points in the Men's part of this invitational.  Altogether, there were 29 teams that scored at least one point.

Next Meet: The Blue Jays are scheduled to compete in the Bill Butler Invitational, hosted by NCAA Division III West Chester University on Saturday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m.  The invitational will take place at John A. Farrell Stadium.
