MANOR COLLEGE MEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD MAKES ITS COLLEGIATE DEBUT AT GOLDEN RAM INVITATIONAL

WEST CHESTER, PA—The Manor College Men's Outdoor Track and Field team made its collegiate debut at the Golden Ram Invitational, hosted by West Chester University.

Sophomore William Rodebaugh (Philadelphia, PA/Keystone) became the first Blue Jay in school history to compete in an Outdoor Track and Field event.  He ran in the third heat of the 1,500 meters and finished with a time of 5:42.66. 

Sophomore Yaseer McKeithan (Ardmore, PA/Lower Merion) ran in the 100 and 200 meters.  He finished sixth in third heat of the 100 with a time of 12.95 and 26th overall. McKeithan finished with a time of 26.14 in the first heat of the 200 and 31st overall.

There were not any team scores in this meet.

The following NCAA schools (including West Chester) competed in this meet: Connecticut College, Bowdoin College, Goldey-Beacom University, Gwynedd-Mercy University, Jefferson (Pennsylvania) University, King's (Pennsylvania) College, Moravian College, and University of Scranton.

Pennsylvania State University-Brandywine also participated.

The following NJCAA Region XIX Division III schools competed in this meet (including Manor): Community College of Philadelphia, Union County College, and Valley Forge Military College.

Next Meet: The Blue Jays are scheduled to compete in the Danny Curran Invitational, hosted by NCAA Division III Widener University, in Chester, Pennsylvania on Friday, March 29 at 3:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 30 at 10:00 a.m.
