MANOR COLLEGE’S HOLMAN NAMED USCAA DIVISION I MEN’S SOCCER GOALIE OF THE WEEK FOR THE SECOND TIME

PITTSBURGH, PA—Manor College junior goalkeeper Aiden Holman (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton) was named USCAA Division I Men's Soccer Goalie of The Week (October 22-October 28) for the second time this season.

Holman played 82:20 in a combined shutout and allowed three shots on goal versus nationally-ranked Christendom College on October 26.  Stopped nine of 10 shots on goal versus Penn State University-Scranton on October 23.  Has an individual shut out and combined in two other shutouts in his last five appearances.  Has allowed zero or one goals in 11 of his 15 appearances this season.

Holman has helped the Manor defense to hold its opponents single-digit overall shots six times this season.  The Blue Jays have also allowed single-digit shots on goal 11 times overall this season. 

As of October 29, Holman is tied for first in Division I matches played (15) and starts (15), second in minutes (1128:35), third in saves (79), second in save percentage (0.832), and fifth in goals against average (1.28).  He is fifth in saves per match (4.65).

This is the second time Holman has won this award and third by a Blue Jay and is the first to win it twice in a season. He previously won this award for the period September 24-September 30, 2024 and joins sophomore Raphael Sobiac (Philadelphia, PA/Samuel Fels) (October 10-October 16, 2023) and Jonathan Ventura-Garcia (October 19-October 25, 2021) as previously winning this honor.

Under 14th-year Head Coach John Dempster, the seventh-ranked USCAA Division I Blue Jays are currently 9-7-1 overall (4-3-1 Eastern States Athletic Conference).
