NEWTOWN, PA—United Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division I Manor College (5-5-1 overall, 2-2-1 Eastern States Athletic Conference) junior goalkeeper Aiden Holman (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton) made six saves and USCAA Division II Bucks County Community College (5-6-1, 2-2-1) sophomore goalkeeper Mohammed Samim Poya made three saves as the Blue Jays and Centurions played to a scoreless tie at Centurion Soccer Field.
This is the third time overall (all on the road) this season and tenth (sixth on the road) since 2021 that a Blue Jay match was scoreless at halftime. Bucks County outshot Manor in the first half, three (all on goal) to one (none on goal).
The Blue Jays outshot the Centurions in the second half, five (three on goal) to four (three on goal). Bucks County outshot Manor for the match, seven (six on goal) to six (three on goal).
This is their first shutout of the season and first in the ESAC since Manor blanked Christendom at home, 1-0, on October 21, 2023. The Blue Jays last road overall and ESAC road shutout was 4-0 versus USCAA Division II Williamson College of the Trades on October 12, 2024. Altogether, they have posted six shutouts overall (four on the road) since 2021.
Individually, this is Holman's second individual career shutout and first in the ESAC. His other shutout was 1-0 versus the NJCAA Region XIX Division III Montgomery County Community College Mustangs at home on October 18, 2022. He made seven saves.
This is the fourth time overall (second on the road) since 2021 that a Manor match finished in a tie. They last tied NCAA Division III University of Valley Forge at one on September 23, 2023 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. This the second time the Blue Jays finished an ESAC match in a tie. They tied USCAA Division II Williamson College of the Trades at one on September 27, 2022 at home in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. This is the first time since Manor played in the NJCAA (2008-2019) and USCAA (2021-present) that they played to a scoreless tie.
