NEWTOWN, PA—United Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division I Manor College (5-5-1 overall, 2-2-1 Eastern States Athletic Conference) junior goalkeeper Aiden Holman (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton) made six saves and USCAA Division II Bucks County Community College (5-6-1, 2-2-1) sophomore goalkeeper Mohammed Samim Poya made three saves as the Blue Jays and Centurions played to a scoreless tie at Centurion Soccer Field.  

This is the third time overall (all on the road) this season and tenth (sixth on the road) since 2021 that a Blue Jay match was scoreless at halftime.  Bucks County outshot Manor in the first half, three (all on goal) to one (none on goal).  

The Blue Jays outshot the Centurions in the second half, five (three on goal) to four (three on goal).  Bucks County outshot Manor for the match, seven (six on goal) to six (three on goal).

This is their first shutout of the season and first in the ESAC since Manor blanked Christendom at home, 1-0, on October 21, 2023.  The Blue Jays last road overall and ESAC road shutout was 4-0 versus USCAA Division II Williamson College of the Trades on October 12, 2024. Altogether, they have posted six shutouts overall (four on the road) since 2021.

Individually, this is Holman's second individual career shutout and first in the ESAC. His other shutout was 1-0 versus the NJCAA Region XIX Division III Montgomery County Community College Mustangs at home on October 18, 2022.  He made seven saves.

This is the fourth time overall (second on the road) since 2021 that a Manor match finished in a tie.  They last tied NCAA Division III University of Valley Forge at one on September 23, 2023 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.  This the second time the Blue Jays finished an ESAC match in a tie.  They tied USCAA Division II Williamson College of the Trades at one on September 27, 2022 at home in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.  This is the first time since Manor played in the NJCAA (2008-2019) and USCAA (2021-present) that they played to a scoreless tie.  

The Blue Jays versus the Association (Since 2021): The Blue Jays are 22-15-2 overall (10-7-1 on the road) versus the USCAA.

Manor versus the ESAC (Since 2021): Manor is 13-9-2 overall (7-5-1 on the road) versus the ESAC since 2021.

The Blue Jays on the Road (Since 2021): The Blue Jays are 3-3-1 on the road this season.  They are 11-12-2 on the road since the 2021 season. 

Series Record (Since 2021): Manor is 2-5-1 overall (1-2-1 on the road) versus Bucks County since 2021.

The Blue Jays Tied at Halftime (Since 2021): The Blue Jays are 1-3-1 overall (1-2-1 on the road this season they are tied at halftime.  They are 3-9-2 overall (1-5-1 on the road) since 2021. 

Manor as a Nationally-Ranked Team (Since 2021): Manor is 3-4-1 overall (1-3-1 on the road) as a nationally-ranked team this season.  They are 6-7-1 overall (1-6-1 on the road) since the 2021 season.

Next Match: The Blue Jays host fourth-ranked USCAA Division II and ESAC member Central Pennsylvania College Knights (7-3-0, 5-0) on Saturday, October 12 at Noon in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.  Manor lost to Central Pennsylvania in its previous match-up this season, on the road, 3-1, on October 7.  The Blue Jays lost to the Knights its previous home match-up, 3-0, on October 24., 2023.  Manor is 3-3-0 overall (2-1-0 at home) versus the Knights since 2021.

Next Road Match: Manor travels to play the 14th-ranked USCAA Division II and ESAC member Williamson College of the Trades Mechanics (6-5-2, 1-4-0 as of October 10) at Betty and Harvey Ross Field on Wednesday, October 16 at 6:30 p.m. in Media, Pennsylvania.  Manor won the previous match-up, 5-1, on September 26 at Manor.  The Blue Jays shut out the Mechanics in their previous visit to Williamson, 4-0, on October 12, 2023.  Manor is 6-0-1 overall (3-0-0 on the road) versus Williamson since 2021.
