PITTSBURGH, PA—Manor College junior goalkeeper Aiden Holman (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton) was named USCAA Division I Men's Soccer Goalie of The Week (September 24-September 30).
Holman helped limit the twelfth-ranked USCAA Division II Williamson College of the Trades Mechanics to four shots on goal and eight overall on September 26. He stopped eight of 10 shots on goal versus the fifth-ranked USCAA Division II Pennsylvania State-Lehigh Valley Nittany Lions on September 24. Holman has helped the Manor defense to hold its opponents single-digit shots six times in seven matches this season. The Blue Jays have allowed single-digit shots in both conference matches this season.
As of September 30, in five matches (all starts), Holman is third in save percentage (0.844), seventh in goals against average (1.43), tied for seventh in saves (27), and 14th in minutes played (315:00).
This is the first time Holman has won this award and third by a Blue Jay. He joins sophomore Raphael Sobiac (Philadelphia, PA/Samuel Fels) (October 10-October 16, 2023) and Jonathan Ventura-Garcia (October 19-October 25, 2021) as previously winning this honor.
Under 14th-year Head Coach John Dempster, the eighth-ranked USCAA Division I Blue Jays are currently 4-3-0 overall (1-1 Eastern States Athletic Conference).
