MANOR COLLEGE LANDS SEVEN PLAYERS ON ALL-ESAC MEN’S SOCCER TEAM AND PLAYER OF THE YEAR

NEWTOWN, PA–Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) Postseason Champion Manor College (7-7-2 overall, 4-3-0 ESAC) junior midfielder Abubakarr Bangura (Philadelphia, PA/John Bartram), sophomore forward/defenseman Kounda Doucoure (Philadelphia, PA/Benjamin Franklin) and seniors Gabriel Elliot (Philadelphia, PA/Frankford) (defenseman) and Eddie Fortescue Jr (Blue Bell, PA/Wissahickon) (forward) were selected to the All-ESAC First Team. Junior defenseman Maximo Chavez (King of Prussia, PA/Upper Merion) and freshmen Adan Crispin-Morales (Norristown, PA/Norristown) (midfielder) and Lucas Dolchanczyk (Philadelphia, PA/Franklin Towne Charter) (defenseman) were selected to the second. Fortescue Jr was named the Conference's Player of the Year.

In 16 matches (all starts), Fortescue Jr. led the Blue Jays in goals (10), points (23), overall shots (82), shots on goal (55), and game-winning goals (three).  He paced Manor in conference play in goals (seven), points (15), overall shots (41), shots on goal (27), and game-winning goals (two) in seven matches.  He became the Blue Jay to be named Conference Player of the Year since Emmanuel Caire received the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Division I honor in 2017 when Manor was in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

Bangura started and played in 15 matches.  He scored four goals and contributed two assists for 10 points. Bangura added 45 shots overall (24 on goal).  In conference action, he contributed three goals and seven points and added 28 shots (15 on goal).

Doucoure played in all 16 matches (10 starts). He was second on the team in goals (six) and points (13).  He played in all seven conference matches (six starts).

Elliot started and played in 15 matches overall and all seven conference contests.

Chavez started and played in all 16 overall matches.

Crispin-Morales started and played in all 16 overall matches.  He led Manor with five assists.

Dolchanczyk played in all 16 matches (15 starts).  He started and played in all seven conference contests. 

Under 13th-year Head Coach John Dempster, Manor previously won a conference postseason championship when they were in the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) in 2007.
