MANOR MEN’S SOCCER PLAYERS FINISHES AMONG FINAL 2018 NJCAA DIVISION I STATISTICAL LEADERS

JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College Men's Soccer (7-6-1 overall, 0-4-0 Region XIX Division I) freshman midfielders Amadou Kamagate (Philadelphia, PA/Frankford) and Kelvin Siem (Upper Darby, PA/Absegami [NJ]) and freshman goalkeeper Aaron Chester (Pennsauken, NJ/Pennsauken) finished in the top-50 in multiple 2018 NJCAA Division I statistical categories. 

Kamagate and Siem finished tied for 41st with 2.14 shots on goal per match (30 in 14 matches).

Chester's 91:40 played per match (1100:00 in 12 matches) were 12th in Division I.  His 6.33 saves per match were 39th (76 in 12) and 76 saves were 45th.  University of South Carolina-Lancaster (Region X) freshman Austin Gunnels led with 233 saves and 14.56 saves per match (233 in 16).

As a team, Manor finished 19th (out of 152 schools) with 16.3 shots per match (228 in 14 matches).  The Blue Jays also finished 37th with 160 shots on goal.  They were 45th with 228 shots.  Manor finished tied for 53rd with 2.71 goals per match (38 in 14).  The Blue Jays finished tied for 56th with 67 corner kicks.  They finished tied for 68th with 96 saves.  University of South Carolina-Union (Region X) paced the way with 253 saves.  Manor finished tied for 72nd with 38 goals scored. Montgomery (Maryland) College (Region XX) led with 122 goals scored, 4.88 goals scored per match (122 in 25), 188 corner kicks, 337 shots on goal, 597 shots, and 23.9 shots per match (597 in 25).

The Blue Jays finished its 29th season with its first postseason berth as a Division I program and since 2013 when they were in Division III.
