SEWELL, NJ–Manor College Men's Basketball (4-3 Overall, 1-2 Eastern States Athletic Conference) junior forward Cheikh Diagne (Philadelphia, PA/Northeast) was named the Roadrunner Classic Most Valuable Player and sophomore guard Manny Roach (Medford, NJ/Life Center Academy) was named to the All-Classic Team.

Diagne led both teams with 21 points in the 72-65 Championship Game win versus the host NJCAA Region XIX Division III Rowan College South Jersey-Gloucester Roadrunners (6-6).  He averaged 33.0 minutes, 19.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game in the Roadrunner Classic.  Simmons shot 44.0% overall (16-36) from the field and 31.3% (5-16) from the three-point line.

Roach scored 16 points, including a team-leading 11 second-half points in the Championship versus the Roadrunners.  He averaged 31.5 minutes, 19.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game in the Roadrunner Classic.  Roach shot 10-35 overall from the field, 31.6% (6-19) from the three-line, and 92.3% (12-13) from the free throw line.

This the first time Manor has won consecutive In-Season Tournaments since joining the USCAA for the 2021-2022 season.  They were Roadrunner Classic Runners-Up to NJCAA Region XIX Division III Montgomery County Community College Mustangs in 2021. They finished third in the 2021 Brandywine Tournament and 2022 Electric City Classic.

Diagne and Roach play for fourth-year Head Coach Leo Mahon.

Manor are scheduled to host the USCAA Division II and Eastern States Athletic Conference foe Central Pennsylvania College Knights (1-8 overall, 0-2 ESAC as of December 7) on Tuesday, December 17 at 7 p.m.
