NEWTOWN, PA—United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Manor College Blue Jays (1-15 overall, 0-12 Eastern States Athletic Conference) Baseball players finish among individual final conference statistical leaderboards.
According to the USCAA, hitters need a "minimum 2.5 plate appearances per game and played in 75% of team games or 2.7 plate appearances per team game played". Pitchers need "1.0 innings per team game" to qualify.
Freshman center fielder-pitcher Jimmy Garcia (Philadelphia, PA/Community Academy of Philadelphia) finished tied for sixth in the ESAC with seven stolen bases. Senior infielder-outfielder-pitcher Eddie Fortescue Jr (Blue Bell, PA/Wissahickon) finished tied for eight in the conference with six. Central Pennsylvania College second baseman Owen Zell led the ESAC with 27.
Freshman catcher-pitcher Anthony Ortiz (Philadelphia, PA/Franklin Towne Charter) finished 15th in the ESAC with a 0.357 batting average. Christendom College senior outfielder-pitcher and USCAA Honorable Mention All-American Thomas Sullivan led the conference with a 0.486 batting average.
Ortiz also finished 15th in the conference with a 0.464 slugging percentage. Williamson College of the Trades senior first baseman-designated hitter Joe Kelly led with a 0.958 slugging percentage.
Freshmen Juan Regalado (Philadelphia, PA) and Almanie Reyes Torres (Philadelphia, PA/Abraham Lincoln) finished tied for fourth in the ESAC games pitched with five. Williamson College of the Trades freshman Aidan McHugh led with nine.
Fortescue Jr, Garcia, Ortiz, freshman Christopher Colella (Philadelphia, PA/Bishop McDevitt) finished in a tie for second in the conference with four relief appearances. McHugh led with eight.
Reyes Torres and freshman Narsizo Rivera (Philadelphia, PA/Samuel Fels) finished tied for the ESAC lead with four starts along with Christendom freshman Joseph Romero and Williamson College of the Trades freshman Jacob Naumann and senior Ryan Neary.
Regalado finished sixth in the conference with 15 ⅔ innings pitched and Rivera finished seventh with 13 ⅓. Naumann led with 28.
Regalado finished fifth in the ESAC with 16 strikeouts and Garcia finished tied for eighth with 12. Naumann led with 26.
Regalado finished third in the conference with 9.19 strikeouts per nine innings (16 strikeouts in 15 ⅔ innings pitched). McHugh led with 10.42 (22 in 19).
Defensively, Ortiz finished second in the ESAC with 64 total fielding chances and Colella finished fourth with 50. Kelly led with 74. Colella led with four double plays.
Fortescue Jr and Regalado finished eighth (14) and ninth (12), respectively in the ESAC in assists. Williamson College of the Trades junior Cody Grande, who was a USCAA Second Team All-American led with 28.
