JENKINTOWN, PA–Manor College Director of Athletics John Dempster announced its 2024 Baseball schedule today.
The Blue Jays previously played in 2019 when they were National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX Division III members.
The seventeen-game schedule features seven doubleheaders and three single games. They are scheduled to play 12 Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) and five non-conference contests. The Blue Jays are also scheduled to play 12 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), four NJCAA, and one unaffiliate member contests.
Manor will be making its Baseball USCAA and ESAC debuts with a doubleheader on Wednesday, March 6 at Williamson College of the Trades (1-17 overall, 0-8 ESAC in 2023) at 2 pm in Middletown, Pennsylvania. The Blue Jays are 1-1 overall in their season series versus the Mechanics. They are scheduled for another doubleheader at Williamson on Saturday, April 6 at Noon.
They next play a doubleheader at NJCAA Region XIX Division III Delaware County Community College (0-11 in 2022) in its regular season home opener at Alverthorpe Park on Saturday, March 9 at 1 pm in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. The Blue Jays also travel to play the Phantoms for a doubleheader on Thursday, April 18 in Media, Pennsylvania at 1 pm. They are 1-3 overall in its season series versus Delaware County.
Manor is scheduled to play the Bucks County Community College Centurions (32-14, 7-1 in 2023) on Tuesday, March 12 at 3 pm in Newtown, Pennsylvania; in a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 23 at Roslyn Park at 3 pm; and the regular season finale on Saturday, May 4 at Noon in Newtown. The Blue Jays are 1-1 overall in its season series versus the Centurions. Bucks County is also the defending ESAC Champion and competed in the 2023 USCAA Small College World Series at Pennsylvania State University-DuBois in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
The Blue Jays host the Patrick Henry College Sentinels on Saturday, March 23 at Alverthorpe Park at 1 pm. This will be the first meeting between the two schools.
Manor is also scheduled to play the Central Pennsylvania College Knights (19-16, 5-3 in 2023) in doubleheaders on the road at First National Bank Stadium in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Monday, April 1 at 1 pm and in the regular season home finale at Roslyn Park on Monday, April 29 at 1 pm. The Blue Jays are 0-1 overall in their season series versus the Knights. First National Bank Stadium is also the home to the Harrisburg Senators. The Senators are the Eastern League Class AA affiliate of the Major League Baseball Washington Nationals.
