Lorimer Park
The Penn State Abington Invitationals are held at Lorimer Park, between Huntingdon Pike (Route 232) and Pine Road. It is less than four miles from the Penn State Abington campus and seven miles from Willow Grove.
Spectators and parents are asked to please read the directions regarding parking and areas to be on the day of the race.
PARKING: ALL Large buses (over 15 passenger vans) MUST park on Pine Road. Moredon Road is too small for larger buses to travel through and is impassable. Spectators can park at the Moredon Road parking lot, however we strongly suggest to park on either side of Pine Road.
To arrive at the park, follow the directions to Fox Chase Farm (GPS Address- 8500 Pine Road, Rockledge, PA 19046). There will be people as well as signs directing you to the park from there. Lorimer Park is on the other side of the fence of Fox Chase Farm.
Facilities at Lormier Park: There are bathrooms, picnic tables, BBQ grills, and open spaces located at the Start/Finish lines. Spectators can enjoy the race there as well as on the newly converted 1.1 mile recreational rail line.
Spectator Rules: Spectators can be in the meadow portion of the races but once the race begins, they must stay there until the completion of the race and can only exit through the converted recreational rail line. Only designated coaches and staffs are allowed on the race course. ALL OTHER individuals including runners not participating in the race will need to be OFF the entire course. Photography is permitted, however we encourage all spectators to not use flash per NCAA regulations.
