PITTSBURGH, PA—Manor College senior forward Eddie Fortescue Jr. (Blue Bell, PA/Wissahickon) was named United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division I Men's Soccer Player of The Week (October 24-30).

Fortescue Jr registered two goals and six shots overall (led both teams with five on goal) in his Senior Day match versus the USCAA Division II Williamson College of the Trades Mechanics on October 26. He led both teams with seven shots overall (four on goal) and scored two second-half goals, including the game-winning goal versus the nationally-ranked Central Pennsylvania College Knights in the Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) Championship Match on October 28.  Altogether, Fortescue Jr scored four goals for eight points and contributed 13 shots overall (nine on goal) in two matches for the week.

As of October 30, in 13 matches (all starts), Fortescue Jr. leads the Blue Jays in goals (10), points (23), overall shots (82), shots on goal (55), and game-winning goals (three).

Fortescue Jr. previously won this award for the periods October 25-31, 2022 and September 20-26, 2022.

Under 13th-year Head Coach John Dempster, the Blue Jays are currently 7-7-2 overall (4-3-0 ESAC).
