MANOR COLLEGE MEN’S SOCCER  LOSES USCAA DIVISION I  MEN’S SOCCER SMALL COLLEGE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT MATCH TO BRYANT AND STRATTON COLLEGE-SYRACUSE

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA—Second-seeded and two-time defending National Champion Bryant and Stratton College-Bobcats (10-1-1) clinched its fourth straight United Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division I Men's Soccer Small College National Championship Match appearance as they defeated the third-seeded Manor College Blue Jays (10-4-1), 6-1, in Pool B play at the Princess Anne Complex.

Manor was making its USCAA Division I Men's Soccer Small College National Championship Tournament debut. 

Syracuse opened the scoring when senior defenseman Felipe Pampolmin's corner kick went to senior forward Azinho Solomon.  Solomon's shot went into the right side of the net (2:26).  Bobcats scored its next goal when Solomon's pass from around midfield went to sophomore forward Shawn Altidorviau around the 18-yard line.  Altidorviau's shot went into the right-hand corner of the net (21:56).  Syracuse freshman forward Aeron Collis' pass from outside the 18 went to sophomore center Razvan Ititesc.  Ititsec's shot went into the right side of the net (30:01).  Bobcat freshman center Antyon Henry scored an unassisted goal when his shot from outside the 18 went into the right side of the net (40:09).  Freshman Aiden O'Keefe scored consecutive unassisted goals to finish the Syracuse scoring.  O'Keefe's shot from outside the 18 into the right side of the net (42:17).  He scored his second goal of the match when his shot inside the 18 went into the right side of the net (43:56).  The Bobcats led 6-0 at halftime.  Syracuse outshot Manor 19 (13 on goal) to 1 (none on goal).

The Blue Jays scored the only second-half goal when junior forward Abubakkar Bangura's (Philadelphia, PA/John Bartram) cross the 18 went to junior midfielder John Levy (Philadelphia, PA/Franklin Towne Charter).  Levy's shot went into the upper right-hand corner of the net for his sixth goal of the season (62:40).  Syracuse outshot Manor in the second half 11 (six on goal) to three (three on goal).  The Bobcats outshot the Blue Jays for the match 30 (19 on goal) to four (three on goal).

Syracuse has a 9-2 overall won-loss record (including eight straight wins) since the USCAA began playing Division I and II Tournaments in 2018. 

Series Record (Since 2008): This was the first match between the two schools. 

Next Match: Manor will play the sixth-seeded Salem (West Virginia) University Tigers (8-5-4) to wrap up Pool B play and the season on Saturday, November 12 at 12:15 p.m. at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Salem made its Small College National Tournament debut on Thursday, November 10 with a 2-1 overtime loss to Syracuse.  This will be first match-up between the two schools.
