MANOR COLLEGE MEN'S SOCCER LOSES TO BROOKDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE

JENKINTOWN, PA—Brookdale Community College (4-1-0) sophomore midfielder's Gabriel Vieira second-half goal lifted the NJCAA Region XIX Division III Jersey Blues-to a 1-0 victory, versus the Manor College Blue Jays (2-3-0).

Manor out shot Brookdale in the first half, six (three on goal) to five (two on goal). 

Freshman forward Mubashshir Atcha's shot inside the 18-yard line went off the right post and Vieira's shot off of the rebound inside the six went into the middle of the net (63:00).  Brookdale outshot Manor in the second half, 12 (four on goal) to 10 (four on goal).  The Jersey Blues outshot the Blue Jays, 17-16, for the match. 

Series Record:  Brookdale leads the season series, 7-0-0 (4-0-0 at Manor) (since 2008).  Before today's match, the Blue Jays and Jersey Blues previously met on October 20, 2015 (at Manor).

Manor versus NJCAA Region XIX Division III (Since 2008): The Blue Jays are 66-62-7 overall (36-26-3 at home) versus NJCAA Region XIX Division III schools.

Next Match:  Manor hosts USCAA Division II Williamson College of the Trades (1-1-1) on Monday, September 27 at 3:30 p.m.  The Blue Jays are 3-0-0 overall (1-0-0 at home) versus the Mechanics (since 2008).  Manor won the previous match-up, 4-1, on October 9, 2017, at Manor.
