MANOR WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL PLAYER DIAZ FINISHES AMONG FINAL 2018 NJCAA DIVISION III STATISTICAL LEADERS

JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College Women's Volleyball (2-14 overall, 2-10 Region XIX Division III, 2-10 EPAC) sophomore Samantha Diaz (Philadelphia, PA/Fels) finished in the top-50 one of the 2018 NJCAA Division III statistical categories. 

Diaz' 0.98 service aces per set (48 in 49 sets) were 21st in NJCAA Division III.  Hostos Community College (Region XV) sophomore outside hitter Reyna Cano led with 1.90 saves per set.

Diaz became the third Blue Jays' Women's Volleyball player (Jewel Roman in 2013 and Jewel Moody in 2015) to finish among the top-50 in a NJCAA Division III statistical category.

As a team, Manor finished 20th (out of 95 schools) with 3.16 service aces per set (158 service aces in 50 sets).  Hostos led with 5.61 service aces per set.

The Blue Jays finished its 26th season overall (eighth in the NJCAA).
