MANOR COLLEGE WOMEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK FINISHES THE REGULAR SEASON AT THE BILL BUTLER INVITATIONAL

WEST CHESTER, PA—The Manor College Women's Outdoor Track and Field team finishes the regular season at the Bill Butler Invitational, at James A. Farrell Stadium, hosted by the NCAA Division II West Chester University Golden Rams.

Senior Jessie Dupre (Philadelphia, PA/Swenson Arts and Technology), sophomore Olivia Morton (Philadelphia, PA/St.Hubert), senior Aidan Geiger (Glenside, PA/Abington), and sophomore Lauren Brown (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert), finished with a time of 1:07.01 in the first section of the 4 X 100 meter relay. 

Dupre finished with a 2024 personal and school season-best time of 15.88 in the second section of the 100.  She surpassed her personal 2024 season-best time of 16.60 at the Purple and Gold Invitational on March 23.  Dupre also surpassed the 2024 school season-best time of Brown's 16.43 at the Purple and Gold.  Geiger set a personal-best time of 17.31 in the first section of the 100, surpassing her time of 17.43 at the Widener Invitational on April 22, 2023.

Dupre and Geiger made their event debuts in the first section of the 400.  Dupre finished with a 2024 school season-best time of 1:31.76, surpassing Morton's time of 1:32.07 at the second day of the Ursinus College Track and Field Festival on April 6.  Geiger finished with a time of 1:41.63. 

Brown and Morton ran in the first section of the 200 and finished with times of 35.45 and 37.86, respectively. 

Manor scored one point and was tied with USCAA and PSUAC member Pennsylvania State University-Scranton for 21st out of the 30 NCAA (Division II and III) and NJCAA (Division III) schools and area clubs/organizations that competed at this Invitational.  West Chester won the Invitational with 141 points.

Next Meet: Manor is scheduled to compete on the Day Two of the USCAA Track and Field Championship at American International College, hosted by Hampshire College, at the John G. Hoyt '52 Track and Field Complex, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 27 in Springfield Massachusetts.
