MANOR COLLEGE WOMEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK COMPETES IN THE SECOND DAY OF THE DANNY CURRAN INVITATIONAL

CHESTER, PA—The Manor College Women's Outdoor Track and Field team competed in its second meet of the regular season on the second day of the Danny Curran Invitational at Leslie C. Quick Jr Stadium, hosted by the NCAA Division III Widener University Pride.

Sophomore Olivia Morton (Philadelphia, PA/St.Hubert) made her 400-meter season debut in the sixth heat with a time of 1:33.47.

Sophomore Lauren Brown (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert) and senior Aidan Geiger (Glenside, PA/Abington) ran in the sixth heat of the 100 and finished with times of 16.55 and 17.66, respectively.

Brown made her Manor debut in the 200 and finished with a time of 34.68 in the 11th heat, which surpassed junior Neysha Medina's (Philadelphia, PA/Constitution) time of 35.59 at the March 23 Purple and Gold Invitational as the best time by a Blue Jay in this event this season.  Morton and Geiger also ran in the 11th with Brown and finished with times of 38.09 and 39.79.

There were not any team scores at this Invitational.

There were 26 schools and clubs/organizations competing in this Invitational, including NCAA (Divisions I, II, and III) and NJCAA (Division III).  Pennsylvania State University-Scranton was the other United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) member competing at this Invitational

Next Meet: Manor is scheduled to compete in the second day of the Ursinus College Track and Field Invitational, hosted by the NCAA Division III Bears, at Patterson Field, at 10 a.m., on Saturday, April 6 in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.
