MANOR COLLEGE WOMEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD FINISHES INAUGURAL SEASON AT THE DELAWARE OPEN

NEWARK, DE—The Manor College Women's Outdoor Track and Field team finished its first season at the Delaware Open, hosted by NCAA Division I the University of Delaware.

The Blue Jays finished fourth (out of four schools that scored points) with six points.  This is the first time in school history that Manor scored points in a meet.  The University of Delaware finished first with 256 points.

This open took place at Stuart and Suzanne Grant Stadium.

Sophomore Chenia Maldonado (Philadelphia, PA/Fels) ran in the second heat of the 100 meters and finished with a time of 14.88 and finished third overall.

The following NCAA schools competed in the Women's portion of this open (including the University of Delaware) (Division): University of the Sciences (II) and Wilmington (Delaware) University (II).
