MANOR COLLEGE WOMEN’S INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD  MAKES ITS COLLEGIATE DEBUT AT BOW TIE INVITATIONAL

COLLEGEVILLE, PA—The Manor College Women's Indoor Track and Field team made its NJCAA debut at the Bow Tie Invitational, hosted by NCAA Division III Ursinus College.

Freshman Julia Curcio (King of Prussia, PA/Upper Merion) became the first Blue Jay in school history to compete in an Indoor Track and Field event.  She ran in the 800 meters and finished with a time of 3:30.13.

Manor finished sixth with five points.

The following NCAA schools (including Ursinus) competed in this meet: Arcadia University, Bryn Mawr College, Gwynedd Mercy University, and Lincoln (Pennsylvania) University.

Philadelphia Runner Track Club (PRTC) also participated.

Manor was the only NJCAA school participating at this invitational.

Ursinus won the meet with 190 points.

Next Meet: The Blue Jays are scheduled to compete in the Collegeville Classic Invitational, hosted by Ursinus, in Collegeville, Pennsylvania on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10:30 a.m.
