MANOR COLLEGE WOMEN’S SOCCER 2019 SEASON-IN-REVIEW

2018 Season: Manor College Women's Soccer finished the season 0-9-0 overall (0-6-0 NJCAA Region XIX Division II and 0-4-0 EPAC).

Returning Players: Manor returned the following players from the previous season: Center Back Keegan Hess (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert) and left fullback Katie Woodhead (Philadelphia, PA/Franklin Towne Charter).

2019 Schedule Notes:

2019 NJCAA Opponents' 2018 Overall Won-Loss Record (Percentage): 36-28-1 (0.562).

2019 NJCAA 2018 Postseason Tournament Opponents (Date/s): Northampton Community College (Region XIX Division III Quarterfinals), Bucks County Community College (Region XIX Division III Runners-Up), and Cecil College (Region XX Division I Quarterfinals).

Altogether, the Blue Jays' 2019 schedule featured five of its 13 contests versus teams who qualified for the 2018 postseason.

Manor's 2019 opponents finished with a 40-51-0 overall won-loss record (0.440).

Statistical Leaders: Six players started and played in 10 matches: Hess, freshman center back Laci Sanders (Philadelphia, PA/Lower Merion), freshman center mid/goal keeper Ziance Smith (Philadelphia, PA/Frankford), freshman outside mid Queen White (Philadelphia, PA/Youth Build Center), freshman defensive mid Dejah Williams (Elkins Park, PA/Wyncote Academy), and Woodhead.  Smith (seven starts) and White (three) shared the goal keeping duties.

Postseason-Bound Opponents: The following Manor opponents qualified for NJCAA Region XIX Division III Postseason Tournaments: Bucks County (Semifinals), Lehigh Carbon (Semifinals), and Northampton.  They accounted for five of the Blue Jays' 11 matches.  Northampton won its second outright regular season Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Championship (EPAC) (The Spartans also shared an EPAC title with Bucks County in 2017).

Final 2018 Regular Season Record and NJCAA Region XIX and EPAC Finishes: Manor finished the regular season 0-11-0 overall (0-7-0 in Region XIX Division III and 0-6-0 in EPAC).  The Blue Jays are 14-78-3 overall (10-53-2 in NJCAA Region XIX Division III and 0-16-0 in EPAC) since they became NJCAA members in 2008 and EPAC in 2017.
