MANOR COLLEGE LOSES TO NORTHAMPTION COMMUNITY COLLEGE IN SEASON FINALE

JENKINTOWN, PA—Northampton Community College (6-7-0 Overall, 3-6 NJCAA Region XIX Division III, 2-2 EPAC ) freshman Hannah Seltzer scored all four goals as the Spartans shut out Manor College (0-9-0, 0-6-0, 0-4) in the Blue Jays' season finale, 4-0.

The Spartans scored the only first-half goal in the 37th minute.  Freshman defenseman Contessa Rivera's pass went to Seltzer inside the 18-yard line and Seltzer kicked into in the right side of the net.

Northampton added to its lead in the second half.  Rivera pass again went to Seltzer inside the 18.  Seltzer kicked into the left side of the net in the 46th minute.  This was Rivera's second assist of the match.  Seltzer's rebound went into the right side of the net for the hat trick in the 56th minute.  The Spartans finished off the scoring in the 62nd minute.  Sophomore defenseman Megan McCarty's corner kick went to Seltzer inside the 18.  Seltzer kicked it into the right side of the net for her fourth goal of the match.

The match was stopped in the 70th minute.

Series Record:  Northampton leads the season series, 4-0-0 (2-0-0 at Manor) (since 2008).

Final Match for Sophomore Class: This was the final match for three members of this season's sophomore class.  These sophomores are as follows: midfielder Dominique Cailo (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert), goalkeeper Alize Felton (New Castle, DE/William Penn), and mid Erica Foreman (Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan).
