Tom Gangi's 2017 Outlook:
"It is an honor to represent this fine institution of learning. To be chosen the responsibility of rebooting our women's soccer team after a [four-] year hiatus of not having a team is humbling. That being said it will be a challenge for us in this year of rebuilding. We have some players that have never played the game of soccer before but their courage, to try something new, so we are even able to field a team inspires me and I look forward to helping them any way I can as student athletes. We also have some very understanding experienced players who have been nothing but helpful and patient with the rebuilding. I can't say enough about these ladies character and ability to lead when it could be easy to bury our heads in the sand and give up, but they are out there every day helping me make our program a success in the years to come. I still believe we will be competitive if we all stick together and work as a team. No question it will be tough but sometimes the most difficult challenges present themselves as the greatest opportunities and that's how our team is looking at and approaching our season."
