MANOR COLLEGE MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNS IN THE JACK SAINT CLAIR MEMORIAL CROSS COUNTRY RACE

PHILADELPHIA, PA—Manor College Men's Cross Country ran in the 13th annual Jack Saint Clair Memorial Cross Country Race at the Belmont Plateau in Fairmount Park.

One Manor College runner competed in this 8,000-meter meet.  Sophomore William Rodebaugh (Philadelphia, PA/Keystone) (40:16.3) ran for the Blue Jays.  Manor did not score in this event.

Kieran Sutton of the Philadelphia Runner Track Club won the individual race (26:46.7) out of 119 competitors.  Williamson College of the Trades freshman Patrick James (28:16.8) was the top Region XIX Division III finisher in 14th.  James also won the individual race in the Luzerne County Community College Invitational on October 6.

The following NJCAA Region XIX Division III schools participated in this meet (including Manor): Community College of Philadelphia, Luzerne County Community College, Ocean County College, and Williamson.  Harcum College was the only NJCAA Region XIX Division I school that competed.  Clubs, independent organizations, and NCAA schools also competed in this meet.

Jack Saint Clair was a cross country coach at Cardinal Dougherty High School (1956-1968) and Temple University (1967-1983).  He was also an official, race organizer, and helped design the men's and women's cross country courses at Belmont Plateau.

Next Meet: The Blue Jays are scheduled to compete in the Region XIX Championships, hosted by Delaware Technical Community College, at White Clay State Park in Newark, Delaware on Sunday, October 28 at Noon.
