MANOR COLLEGE MEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD 2019 SEASON-IN-REVIEW

2019 Season: Manor College, under Head Coach Daryl Nelson made its collegiate debut at the Golden Ram Invitational (March 23), hosted by West Chester University.  They also participated in the Danny Curran Invitational (March 29 and 30), hosted by Widener University; Bill Butler Invitational (April 6), hosted by West Chester; and at the Delaware Open (April 28), where the Blue Jays scored points for the first time in school history. 

Season Bests:

100 Meters: 12.45, Yaseer McKeithan, Sophomore (Ardmore, PA/Lower Merion), at the Bill Butler Invitational.

200 Meters: 25.45, McKeithan, at the Bill Butler Invitational.

400 Meters: 1:00.67, McKeithan, at the Danny Curran Invitational (Day Two).

1,500 Meters: 5:28.68, William Rodebaugh, Sophomore (Philadelphia, PA/Keystone), at the Bill Butler Invitational.

5,000 Meters: 20:39.84, Rodebaugh, at the Golden Ram Invitational.

National Championship-Bound Opponents: The following Manor opponents qualified for NJCAA Division III National Championships at Region III Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York: Bergen, Camden County, Philadelphia, Middlesex County, Gloucester County, Thaddeus Stevens, and Union County College.  Gloucester County was the National Champion for the second straight year with 131 points, followed by Philadelphia (34, eighth out of 23), Camden County (25, tied for ninth), Union County (16, 14th), Bergen and Middlesex County (10, tied for 17th), and Thaddeus Stevens (20, 12th). Region XIX Division III claimed five First-Team, 10 Second-Team, and five Honorable Mention All-American honors.  Harcum College qualified for the NJCAA Division I National Championships at the NCAA Division I University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware, but, did not score.
