JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College Blue Jays (6-8-0 Overall, 0-5-0 Region XIX Division I) sophomore defenseman Justin Dillon (Philadelphia, PA/Franklin Towne Charter) (First Team) and freshman midfielder Jared Laudenslager (Philadelphia, PA/Franklin Towne Charter) (Second Team) were voted to the 2019 NJCAA Region XIX Division I All-Region Team.

Dillon joins Kelvin Siem (midfielder) and Mark Colville as Manor Men's Soccer players to be voted to the Region XIX First Team.  Siem became the first Blue Jay to be voted to the Region XIX Division I First Team.  Colville was voted to the first team in 2012 (Forward) and 2013 (Midfielder) when Manor was in Division III.

Dillon started and played in all of the Blue Jays' 14 matches.  He led Manor in shot on goal percentage (0.676).  Dillon was second on the team lead in overall shots (37) and shots on goal (25).  He took one shot (or more) in 11 of 14 matches this season). Dillon scored both of his goals this season in a 9-0 home victory versus USCAA Division II Webb Institute on October 5.  He also contributed two assists during the season.

Manor College Men's Soccer Head Coach John Dempster on Dillon: "The already talented Justin Dillon returned this year, in better physical shape, but most importantly, returned more mentally prepared than ever before.  The once 'hot headed,' but talented center back (that led the team in yellow and red cards) arrived in camp with a new approach to his game and his teammates.  Justin became the total player adding leadership to his resume that led him to be named one of the captains this year.  Justin was a role model and coaches dream to be around, he deserves this award, he earned it."

Laudenslager also started and played in all of Blue Jays' 14 matches.  He led Manor in goals scored (eight) and shared the team lead with 18 points.  Laudenslager finished among team leaders with 36 shots overall and 21 on goal.  He registered his first collegiate hat trick (and contributed two assists) in an 8-2 home victory versus NJCAA Region XIX Division III Delaware County Community College on September 14.  Laudenslager followed up with a pair of goals in a 5-1 road victory at USCAA Division II Pennsylvania State University-Lehigh Valley on September 18.  He also led the Blue Jays with two game-winning goals: USCAA Division II Pennsylvania State University-Mont Alto (September 3) and Region XIX Division III Harrisburg Area Community College (September 28).

Dempster on Laudenslager: "Jared is just one of those players that makes a team better.  He is truly unselfish when it comes to playing the game and playing the game right.  His craftiness on the field led to being double-teamed most of the time which means he got fouled more than any player on our team.  When Jared got fouled he always did the right thing and walked away, never retaliating.  I always coach our players to walk away, now I can use Jared as an example for years to come. Jared (like Justin) is the total package.  Whatever I needed him to do on the field, he did.  Jared led our team in all offensive categories, but most important to me, he never missed a day of school or practice."

This is the third time in the past four seasons that multiple players have been voted to the All-Region team. Altogether, nine Blue Jays have been voted to the Men's Soccer All-Region Division I team since Manor moved up to Division I for the 2014 season.
