MANOR COLLEGE MEN'S SOCCER BLANKED BY LACKAWANNA COLLEGE IN CONFERENCE GAME

JENKINTOWN, PA—Lackawanna College (4-2-0 Overall, 1-1-0 NJCAA Region XIX Division I) sophomore midfielder Anderson Italien contributed a hat trick as the Falcons shut out the Manor College Blue Jays (4-7-0, 0-4-0), 4-0.

The Falcons scored first when freshman left back/left winger Robert Humphreys' pass outside the 18-yard line went to Italien.  Italien's head shot went into the left side of the net (34:08).  A little more than two minutes later, after a Manor foul, freshman forward Justice Ngafi's direct kick between the 18 and 35 went to sophomore forward Orlin Garcia Muguia (36:12).  Garcia Muguia's shot went into the left side of the net.  Lackawanna outshot Manor 20 (nine on goal) to seven (five on goal) in the first half.

Falcon sophomore midfielder Tyler St. Louis passed the ball outside the 18 to Italien.  Italien's head shot went into the right side of the net for his second goal of the match (58:47).  Following a Blue Jay foul inside the 18, Italien's penalty kick goal completed the hat trick (68:56).  Lackawanna outshot Manor in the second half, 19 (11 on goal) to six (four on goal).  The Falcons outshot the Blue Jays, 39-13, for the match.

Series Record: The Blue Jays are 0-5-0 overall versus the Falcons (0-2-0 at home).

Next Game: Manor hosts USCAA Division II Webb Institute (0-6-0) in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania at Noon on Saturday, October 5 in its final home regular season game.  The Blue Jays are 2-3-0 at home this season.  Manor is 7-0-1 overall (2-0-0 at home) versus USCAA schools.  This is the Blue Jays' first match-up versus the Webbies.
