JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College (4-6-0) freshmen midfielder Jared Laudenslager (Philadelphia, PA) scored a second-half goal Blue Jays shut out the Harrisburg Area Community College Hawks (1-7-0), 1-0.
The Blue Jays outshot the Hawks 10 (seven on goal) to eight (six on goal) in a scoreless first half. This the fourth time this season Manor played a scoreless first half.
Manor sophomore defenseman Justin Dillon (Philadelphia, PA) passed the ball to Laudenslager inside the 18-yard line. Laudenslager's shot went into the left side of the net for his team-leading eight goal of the season (76:53). Manor outshot Harrisburg Area in the second half, 19 (10 on goal) to eight (three on goal). The Blue Jays outshot the Hawks, 29-16, for the match.
This is Manor's second shutout of the season and its first at home since August 26, 2018 versus Region XX Division I Cecil College (3-0). Sophomore goalkeeper Aaron Chester (Pennsauken, NJ) won his first match of the season and registered his second career shutout.
Series Record: The Blue Jays are 15-0-0 (7-0-0 at home since 2005) versus the Hawks since 2004. They have seven shutouts (five at home) versus Harrisburg Area.
Manor versus Division III: Manor is 20-25-1 (13-9-0 at home) versus Division III schools since 2014.
