JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College (2-4-0) freshman midfielder Jared Laudenslager (Philadelphia, PA) registered a hat trick (and contributed two assists) as part of the squad's seven-goal second half as the Blue Jays won its first home game of the season with an 8-2  victory versus the Delaware County Community College Phantoms (2-3-1) in a non-conference contest.

Delaware County opened up the scoring early in the match when freshman forward Jorge Zea's chip shot from inside the 50-yard line went to freshman midfielder Ebento Akoi.  Akoi's kick shot went into the left side of the net (8:26).  Manor evened the match over two minutes later.  Freshman goalkeeper Moussa Kallo's (Philadelphia, PA) goal kick went to fellow freshman forward Wood-Jerry Georges (Philadelphia, PA).  Georges' shot into the left side of the net tied the match (10:57).  The Blue Jays outshot the Phantoms 10 (five on goal) to three (three on goal) in the first half.

Manor broke the game open in the second half.  Freshman midfielder Gabriel Elliott's (Philadelphia, PA) pass went to Laudenslager outside the 18.  Laudenslager shot went through the goalkeeper's legs for the go-ahead goal (48:48).  Laudenslager's direct kick outside of the 18 went to Elliott, who kicked into the right side of the net (55:09). Freshman midfielder Jonathan Ventura-Garcia (Philadelphia, PA) pass inside the 18 went to Laudenslager, who kicked into the net for his second goal of the match (59:05).  Laudenslager's pass went to Ventura-Garcia outside the 18.  Ventura-Garcia's shot went in the right side of the net (73:53).  The Blue Jays scored its sixth straight goal less than two minutes later.  Freshman defenseman Rodrigo Zurita's (Norristown, PA) pass behind the 50 went to Ventura-Garcia outside the 18.  Ventura-Garcia's shot went into the right side of the net for his second goal of the match (75:20).  The Phantoms broke the string of Blue Jays' goals when sophomore midfielder/forward John-Preston Boyce scored an unassisted goal off of a rebound (80:51).  Manor scored the final two goals of the match.  Zurita's pass went to Laudenslager outside the 18, who put it into the net for the hat trick (86:11).  Ventura-Garcia's pass went to freshman midfielder Dominick Venuto (West Chester, PA) Venuto's shot went off the left post and into the net (87:44).  Ventura-Garcia and Zurita contributed two assists each.  Manor outshot Delaware County in the second half, 19 (12 on goal) to six (six on goal).  The Blue Jays outshot the Phantoms, 29-9, for the match.

The Blue Jays' seven second-half goals are the most since they scored six versus Lehigh Carbon Community on October 8, 2016 in a 10-1 victory The Blue Jays also scored six second-half goals at Pennsylvania State University-Schuylkill on September 28, 2015 in a 10-0 win

The victory broke a three-match overall losing streak.

Series Record:  The Blue Jays lead the season series, 16-2-0 (since 2002).  Manor is 8-1-0 at home versus Delaware County since 2005.

Manor versus NJCAA Division III: Manor is 19-24-1 overall (12-9-0 at home) versus NJCAA Division III schools (since 2014).
