Manor eighth-year head coach John Dempster on Caire and the Blue Jays team appearing in the 2017 NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer statistical ranking: "This past season was the best season we've had since our last conference championship season in 2013.  I truly believe that we are ready to take that next step and get back to the playoffs next season.  My coaching staff is great at getting these young men prepared for college level soccer.  Emanuel Caire, our starting goalkeeper became an instant leader this year; he with the help of our other two captains (Damian Schweizer and Arthur "Trey" Greenwood), are leaving this team in a good place for our freshman to succeed."

The Blue Jays finished the season 8-9-1 under Dempster.
