Blue Jays athlete adds to list of postseason honors
JENKINTOWN, PA—The NJCAA announced its Division III All-American
men’s soccer team. Manor College sophomore midfielder Mark Colville (Philadelphia,
PA/Roman Catholic) was named first-team All-American. He was the lone Blue Jay
named to the squad.
Colville is the only Manor College athlete to be named to a NJCAA
All-American team in any sport since the Blue Jays joined the NJCAA in 2007.
Colville was previously named to the Region’s Division III team and its Player-of-
The-Year. He was also recently named the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference
(EPAC) men’s soccer team and its Player-of-the-Year. Colville won these same honors in
2012.
Colville led the NJCAA Division III with 22 assists and 10 game-winning goals.
He finished second nationally with 68 points and 86 shots. Colville also finished seventh
with 23 goals.
Colville, in 34 games played, set Blue Jay career records in goals (47), assists
(37), and points (131). These totals are the most since Manor College began keeping
track of these statistics since 2006. He also set single-season school records in 2013 in
assists (22) and points (63).
Manor College’s (17-1-0, 12-0-0 Region XIX Division III, 12-0-0 EPAC) 17
overall wins and 17 straight wins to start the season are the most since 2007, the season
before they joined the NJCAA.
