Manor College’s Men’s Soccer team accomplished an impressive win over Montgomery County Community College on Tuesday, October 7th, in which the final score was 5-1. Tyler Gormley, Seraiah Wogbeh, Austin Krayger, Anthony Valecce, and Louis Antoine each made one goal each for Manor College. Their assists came from Tyler Gormley, Seraiah Wogbeh, and Anthony Valecce. On the other end of the field, the goalkeeper, Kristi Isaku had seven saves during the game.

This season has been a difficult one for the team, but Head Coach John Dempster still has faith in the program, saying, “Every few years (few, meaning 3 to 4) Manor soccer goes through a rebuilding stage.  This year wasn't supposed to be one of those years, but … it certainly turned out to be.”

After each loss this season, the team attempted to improve their mood and gameplay by focusing on the positives from the game. In the following practices, the coaches used the negatives from those games to enhance their practices. They realized the importance of fixing their past mistakes.

In regards to next year, Dempster notes, “I am really looking forward to next season. We do have a lot of talent and I'll recruit to fill our needs as a team.”
