JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College (5-7 Overall, 3-2 Region XIX Division II) freshman forward/center Kureese Rodgers (Philadelphia, PA/Frankford) led the Blue Jays with 20 points as they defeated the Rowan College at Burlington Barons (2-11, 1-5), 74-63.
Manor led at halftime, 32-27. Barons freshman forward Emil Belliard led both teams with 14 points. Rodgers paced the Blue Jays with 10 points. Manor outscored Burlington County in the second half, 42-36, en route to the victory. Belliard led both teams with 12 second-half points. Rodgers paced the Blue Jays with 10.
Individual Statistical Leaders: Sophomore forward/center Robert Tucker (Philadelphia, PA/Paul Robeson) scored 11 points. Sophomores Yochua Diaz (guard/forward) (Philadelphia, PA/Dobbins) and DaShawn Hockaday (guard) (Philadelphia, PA/Dobbins) scored 10 points each off the bench for the Blue Jays.
Belliard led both teams with 26 points (including six three-point baskets). Freshman guard Andrew Jackson led the Barons with 11 bench points.
