JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College (7-16 Overall) freshman center Robert Tucker (Philadelphia, PA/Paul Robeson) led both teams with 28 points as the Blue Jays defeated the Sullivan Community College Generals (18-6), 75-59, in a non-conference contest.

The Generals are in Region XV Division II and a member of the Mid-Hudson Conference.  They are located in Loch Sheldrake, New York.

The Blue Jays led at halftime, 42-28.  Freshman forward Yochua Diaz (Philadelphia, PA/Dobbins) paced both teams with 13 points.  Tucker contributed 10 points.  Manor outscored Sullivan County, 33-31, in the second half, en route to the victory.  Tucker led both teams with 18 second-half points.  Freshman forward Darius Lee paced the Generals with 10 second-half points.

Manor has five of the last six games in February after a winless January (0-6).

Individual Statistical Leaders: Diaz scored 15 points led Manor with 16 rebounds.  Tucker pulled down 13 rebounds.  Freshman guard Jeff Alvarez (Reading, PA/Governor Mifflin) came off the bench to score 12 points.  Sophomore forward Carl Robinson (Jenkintown, PA/Jenkintown) scored 11 points.  Freshman guard Haji Kande (East Orange, NJ/East Orange) paced the Blue Jays with four assists

Lee led the Generals with 19 points.  Sophomore guard Kevin Smith came off the bench to score 14 points for Sullivan County.

Series Record (since 2008-2009): This was the first match-up between the two schools.

Next Game: The Blue Jays host NJCAA Region XIX Division II Rowan College at Burlington County 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 18.  This is also final home game of the regular season for the team and for Robinson and sophomore guard Jose Romero (Philadelphia, PA/Frankford).  They are 8-13 overall (since 2008-2009) versus the Barons, including losing four of the previous five match-ups.  Manor is 6-3 at home versus Burlington County.  The Blue Jays lost the previous match-up this season, 79-77, on November 13, 2018 in Pemberton, New Jersey.  Manor won the previous home match-up, 98-83, on December 14, 2017.  This is a make-up game from Tuesday, February 12, 2019 due to inclement weather.
