MANOR COLLEGE BASEBALL LOSES GAME TWO OF AN ESAC ROAD DOUBLEHEADER VERSUS WILLIAMSON COLLEGE OF THE TRADES

MEDIA, PA—United States Collegiate Athletic Association Williamson College of the Trades (13-6 overall, 8-3 Eastern States Athletic Conference) scored runs in all of the innings they batted, as the Mechanics defeated the Manor College Blue Jays (1-8, 0-5) in game two of a doubleheader, 14-0, in five innings.

This doubleheader was originally scheduled for April 4.

Williamson scored two runs in the first.  The Mechanics batted around in the second, scoring six.  They scored one run in the third and batted around in the fourth, scoring five.

Batting Leaders: Freshman first baseman Stephen Gualtieri had two hits (including a double), scored two runs, and led both teams with four runs batted in.  Freshman second baseman Zachary Ladislaw also had two hits (including a double), stole two bases, and scored twice.  Junior right fielder Evan Lewis walked three times and scored two runs.  Junior center fielder Joshua Illing walked twice, stole two bases, and scored three runs.  Junior left fielder Samuel Koppa and freshman designated hitter Michael Krakovitz scored two runs each.

Pitching Leaders: Freshman Jacob Naumann (4-2) pitched his second complete game of the season, striking out seven, and allowed three singles.  He won both ends of the doubleheader. 

Season Series: Manor is 1-5 overall versus Williamson (1-3 on the road).

Manor on the Road: The Blue Jays are 0-4 this season on the road.

Next Games: Manor hosts the Bucks County Community College Centurions (3-17, 3-5 as of April 18) for an ESAC home doubleheader on Tuesday, April 23 at 11 a.m. at Roslyn Park in Abington, Pennsylvania.  The Blue Jays are 1-2 overall versus the Centurions. This is Manor's first home match-up versus Bucks County.

Next Road Games: The Blue Jays travel to play the Central Pennsylvania College Knights (11-9, 4-2 as of April 18) for a ESAC road doubleheader on Sunday, April 28 at 1 p.m. at East Pennsboro High School in Enola, Pennsylvania.
