VIRGINIA BEACH, VA—The 2022 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Division I Men's Soccer Small College National Tournament Match preview between the third-seeded Manor College Blue Jays (10-4-1 overall, 4-1-1 Eastern States Athletic Conference) versus the sixth-seeded Salem (West Virginia) University Tigers (8-5-4) in Pool B at 12:15 p.m. at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Manor made its USCAA Division I Men's Soccer Small College National Tournament debut on Friday, November 11 with a 6-1 loss to the Bryant and Stratton College Syracuse Bobcats (10-1-1).  The Bobcats clinched a spot in the USCAA Division I Men's Soccer Small College National Tournament Championship for the four straight time and will seek its third consecutive National Championship.  They will play the Pool A winner on Sunday, November 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Salem made its Small College National Tournament debut on Thursday, November 10 with a 2-1 overtime loss to Syracuse.

This will be first match-up between the two schools.

The Blue Jays were 1-4 overall in four National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX Division II Postseason Tournament appearances.  They lost its previous Postseason Tournament game in the NJCAA Region XIX Division I Quarterfinals versus Harcum College, 5-1, on October 20, 2018 at The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.  Manor was also 6-2 overall in four Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) Postseason Tournaments between 2004 and 2007.  The Blue Jays are 7-7 overall nine Postseason Tournaments since 2004.  Manor last won a postseason match on October 29, 2013 at home versus Sussex County, 1-0, in the NJCAA Division III Postseason Tournament Second Round.  Please note that the Blue Jays played in 10 EPCC Postseason Tournaments from 1993 and 1995 to 2003, but, win-loss information is incomplete.  Manor has won ten EPCC Postseason Conference Tournament and six PCAA Championships between 1993 and from 1995 to 2007.

Between 2014 through 2018, the Tigers were 2-1 in two Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) Postseason Tournaments and 2-3 in three (Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Championship Tournaments.

This will be the final match of the season for both schools.
