JENKINTOWN, PA—Manor College Athletics finalized its 2022-2023 Women's Basketball schedule today.
The Blue Jays return for its 62nd season and first basketball action since the 2018-2019 season. The eight-game schedule (four home, three away, and one neutral) feature six games versus United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and two against National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX Division III.
Manor makes its USCAA debut on the road on Saturday, October 29 at USCAA Division II Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (4-14 in 2021-2022) in the USCAA Tip-Off Challenge, hosted by ACPHS, at 3:00 p.m. The Blue Jays will host Albany College of Pharmacy and Science on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Noon. This is the first meeting between these two schools. Manor plays USCAA Division II Great Bay Community College (3-15 in 2021-2022) on Sunday, October 30 at the USCAA Tip-Off Challenge at 1:00 p.m. This is also the first match-up between the two schools.
Manor returns on Saturday, December 10 at NJCAA Region XIX Division III Montgomery County Community College (5-16 in 2021-2022) at Noon in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. The Blue Jays host the Mustangs on Saturday, January 22, 2023 at Noon. Manor leads the season series, 5-0 (since 2008-2009). The Blue Jays won the previous match-up, 65-26, on January 17, 2017 in Jenkintown.
They will also be making its Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) debut, hosting Central Pennsylvania College (8-8 in 2021-2022) on Tuesday, December 13 at 5:00 p.m. The Blue Jays are scheduled to finish the season at the Knights in Enola, Pennsylvania on Saturday, February 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Manor won the previous contest, 67-33, on January 12, 2008 at Central Pennsylvania when both schools were Eastern Pennsylvania College Conference (EPCC) members.
The Blue Jays will be also making its series debut versus USCAA Division II Berkeley (New York) College Knights (3-12 in 2021-2022) on Saturday, January 28 at 2:00 p.m. The Knights were 2022 Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) Postseason Tournament Runners-Up.
Manor will be led by first-year Head Coach Anthony Holloway.
